About John

My name is John O'Mahoney and I founded The Whole Hog in 2014 , The Original Hog Father one would say.

With my skilled team of chefs and staff, we deliver The Whole Hog experience. All members of the team have backgrounds in professional catering, and I have worked in catering in Ireland and abroad for over 20 years. I have spent my lifetime building a wealth of experience catering in top hotels, restaurants, and bars. This has left me with an expansive knowledge about the catering industry, professional event management, as well as how to meet the needs of a myriad of different clients.

We like to keep things simple - we travel to you. No distance is too far and our team is always happy to discover new parts of the country. Our vans are always on the road to and from Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast, Waterford, Limerick, Kilkenny, and every place in-between. Our flexibility is one of the many reasons why our catering service is unique. If you need our catering expertise, we will be there spitting pig , BBQ or sit down meals.
